Tenant Spotlight: Higher Vibration Healing

Who are you?

My name is Jennifer Yurkavich. I am an Energy Healer/Shaman and the owner of Higher Vibration Healing.

What is your business?

I offer one on one energy-based healing sessions to help clients release what no longer serves them. These might be things like past traumas or experiences, old belief systems, energy blocks, physical pain and much more. Releasing these things helps.

Is there a story behind your business?

I first discovered Shamanic healing 8 years ago while in treatment for Graves, an autoimmune disease. Working with a mix of holistic and traditional approaches, my doctors proposed surgery to remove 90% of my thyroid. Despite this advice, I knew I had the mental, physical, emotional and spiritual strength to heal myself and I did just that. Years later I’m medicine-free, my thyroid intact and working fine. During that process, I vowed that if I could heal myself through Shamanic work, I would spend my life guiding others to accomplish the same.

What problems are you/your business trying to help solve?

My work is focused on reconnecting people with their true life’s purpose, enabling them to live happy and healthy lives with hearts full of love. Believing we already possess all we need to heal ourselves, I seek to educate others on how to tap into this process.

How is your business changing the world?

I believe what we put out into the world, we get back tenfold. Like a ripple-effect, helping people to love who they are, love what they do, and to express their gratitude will allow them to exude happiness and spread that joy to others.

Why do you like being a part of the bigger CI Works puzzle?

CI Works has a wide variety of businesses with different space options to fill everyone’s needs. They are continually holding special events to educate their tenants to further their business in a smart sense. They have created a great community.

What do you hope your company’s next milestone will be?

I would like to offer healings and knowledge on a global level, providing people everywhere with the skills to heal themselves and others.

Are there any causes you are passionate about?

I donate my time and services to local families and nonprofit’s in need but my biggest passions are helping the homeless and our environment.

What is your biggest fear?

My biggest fear is the bad outweighing all the good. We’re living in a time where people focus too much on the negativity in the world and I see a lot of misdirected anger.

What is your proudest accomplishment?

Becoming a Shaman was by far the hardest, most grueling process I’ve gone through to date. I spent many years aligning myself to do this work. At times I thought of giving up, but I made it through and the rewards regularly leave me speechless.

What advice do you have for other small businesses?

Setting goals are a must but don’t lose the balance between work and play, head and heart. I’m at my best when I’m equally grounded in all of these. We are a hard-working society, but it’s important to take time to recharge.
