CI Works would like to welcome a new member to our community of small businesses and makers – Kam Mitchell Photography.
Kam and his partner, Karraline, are freelance photographers and cinematographers. Kam specializes in outdoor adventure sports/lifestyle as well as studio advertising. Karraline specializes in architecture and portraiture.
Kam and Karraline plan to use their space at CI Works as an office outside of their home to edit and shoot small still lives for their clients. Below is a gallery with a few samples of their collective talents:
We had the chance to ask Kam a few questions about his new start inside the CI Works walls. Read below to learn more!
How do you think being located at CI Works will help you to grow your business?
Removing myself from my home office is definitely going to bring a lot more productivity for editing images and video as well as giving me the space to do smaller shoots when clients have last minute requests since. It's hard to find last minute studio space for these types of requests.
What is something you've accomplished in the last few years that you are most proud of?
I've completed filming for two short feature length documentaries – one is about the people who race Vermont Super 8, a 640 mile Bikepacking race in Vermont. The other one is about a friend and athlete who skis from his parents house in Madison, Maine to the Canadian border along the proposed and controversial CMP corridor in Maine.
What is something you want other tenants at CI Works to know about you and your business?
Between Karraline and I, we do it all. We're both graduates of Hallmark Institute of Photography and tackle most projects as a team. Our client list consists of brands such as Jetboil, Fischer Skis, UVEX sportswear, Nemo Equipment,Terracea (NH outerwear brand) all the way to studio work for Garnet Hill, and studio headshots for companies all over New England.
We are very excited to have Kam and Karraline join our community! We can't wait to see what collaborations arise between them and the other amazingly talented businesses located here.
